Also have in mind that this type of error could be temporary and last just a few days, because your public IP changes dinamically, you can have been assigned a IP that was flagged by the tracker's firewall for some reason, and eventually when this IP changes, you might be able to access the tracker without a VPN.

@Tyga Friend, the message "no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" indicates that you can reach the tracker, and the tracker is refusing your request. So it is not your provider blocking you, it is the tracker's firewall settings.

If you are able to reach the tracker, then your provider is not blocking you. The tracker is blocking your connection because of its own rules. It might be related to how your Internet provider operates, but it is not voluntary. You can't see the page because the request is blocked as soon as you establish a connection with the tracker.

This is a tricky situation, hard to troubleshoot, if you have the means to use a VPN or connect using a different provider, it's the easiest solution.

@ianfontinell-0 thank you so much for clarifying. You are right, it's something totally different and absolutely not relatable with the other guy. I will look up for a suitable VPN to get access. The link you have shared is not opening in my browser without VPN. So the problem lies there with the garbage homophobic internet provider.

@Tyga you can't say "yes same" and report something totally different. op's case indicates his computer is unable to reach the gaytorrent tracker. your case is different, the tracker is purposefully refusing your connection, because of improper configuration on your side.

Have in mind that Local Peer Discovery, PEX and DHT are automatically disabled for private torrents, so this is standard behavior.

About the port, you must not (and cannot) change the port of the server. 2710 is the only port the tracker listens to, you can only change the port of YOUR torrent client, not the port indicated in the tracker URL.

Make sure you can access this URL in your browser:
https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd/

It must show the tracker status. If you cannot see this page, the problem is likely your internet provider, so you'll need to either contact them or use a VPN.

If you can see the status page, but your torrent client reports that the tracker refused the connection, you should consider changing to a different client and make sure you are using a proper port for your client (any number between 1025 and 65535).

yes same. its been going on with me for more than a week now. although ratio has been fixed, still getting "not allowed" against all parameters like, local peer discovery, DHT, peer exchange, and against the GT tracker link with passkey its showing "no connection could be made the target machine actively refused it" i have tried replacing port 2710 with 81 still nothing...admin please help us
