Armenia has a very interesting history, often missed by people.  The Roman Empire extended into Armenia some centuries earlier, and at least one temple from that time still exists (see <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garni_Temple" rel="nofollow ugc">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garni_Temple</a> ).</p>
