Keep this in mind. democrats always do better in polls by roughly 6 points. One reason for that is democrats have no lives and take the time to participate in stupid polls whereas republicans tend to say "no thank you" and hang up the phone. So, when you see a poll where a republican is even in the POLLS with a republican, the republican is actually about 6 points ahead.

More importantly, in the past, polls were fairly accurate. They were done by calling land lines. These days very few people have land lines. Most people have cell phones. The only reputable poll left is the Rasmussen Poll. The rest of them went out of business. Rasmussen has Trump leading. All of these other quasi-polls done by colleges, etc. are nonsense. Even Rasmussen has a problem finding a credible database of people to poll.
