So much for democracy. Biden universally won the democrat party's nomination in the primaries - but the votes of the people mean nothing to people like Obama, Pelosi, etc. They decided to dump Biden! Poor old senile Joe!

The elite have selected Harris for 2024 just like the elite selected Biden for 2020. Joe was in last place in the 2020 primaries, but then all the other candidates dropped out, leaving Joe to win the nomination! WTF is that?

There is nothing in the constitution about it. They choose the candidate that they think has the best chance of winning.
