JD Vance in Marines, had office job (not direct combat), but did deploy to Iraq & sometimes came under rocket attack or other threat.
Tampon Tim says stuff like, he carried weapons "in war" - he faced "challenges after deployment" - he's affected by "the experience of war" - all to hint he's war veteran.

@raphjd I'm also a veteran. As is/was most of my family. There was no stolen valor here. He served honorably for more than two decades. Vance is the cunt. Disparaging another soldier's service is unforgiveable. Countless sources including the Minnesota National Guard have debunked these lies. In addition, in government, he has worked for veterans and their health care. And kudos to Walz for not pointing out what Vance was actually doing in Iraq when he says he was deployed there. Because it doesn't matter. Service is service and to politicize it is not only deplorable it goes against the code of honor. If you really are a vet, thank you for your service, but I can't believe you support these kinds of attacks.

If you are going to use your military service for personal gain, then you better not be lying. I have no problem with calling out liars.
A lot of my family was in the military. Sadly, none of the current young generation has joined. Only 2 of my generation joined.
My dad flew A-6s in the Navy, until he had a brain aneurysm burst. After that, he was grounded and put on the admin side of the squadron. He got his full retirement.
