President Trump took bullet for democracy, Libs out to deny it.
Libs go, Oh he was shot at - not same as shot - epistemologically we idiot libs didn't literally, personally witness precisely what may have hit him.

-
NYT weighs in and - nice of them, credit where due - says BULLET.

FBI says BULLET. https://www.thedailybeast.com/fbi-says-trump-was-struck-by-bullet-or-its-fragment-as-he-crows
Wray gave conspiracy fuel to kooked-up libs. Did he do it because he hates them? or loves them?

That's a bit grand. He was shot at by a psychopath who was legally able to buy an assault weapon. Sounds more like karma to me.
I prefer presidential candidates that people don't want to kill

-
@jaroonn try to keep up with the news jaroon.
The rifle used to shoot Trump was purchased by the shooter's FATHER.

Irrelevant. He was still ABLE to buy one and (obviously) access one. Republicans are against any kind of gun control, so.........karma.
-
@jaroonn Retarded again!
Guns don't kill people. People kill people.
Plus you ignore shooter's lib leanings.
And crucially, ignore shooter's USSS & FBI backing.
And victim-blame.
WOW your life must be poor.
-
@jaroonn jaroon, you are irrelevant.
The guy lived with his parents, the parents have guns.
As for Trump getting shot.. There are thousands of people who would like to kill people like Trump, Biden, and any other president. The problem is, the Secret Service blew it. They failed their task of protecting out of blatant incompetence. They spotted the shooter 30 minutes before the shooting. They took photos and video of the shooter minutes before the shooting. They had at least two snipers with their rifles pointed at the shooter while Trump is speaking. The shooter then got off 5 rounds before being shot. How does it feel to be wrong about everything, jaroon?

You tell me.
-
@jaroonn Well, when one is wrong about everything, they say to themselves things like: "why do I like Rob Reiner so much?"; "why does everyone hate me?"; "why is my name so similar to MORON?"
-

Indeed they co-operated with shooter.
Incompetence reaches a point where it's not believable.
USSS overall person in charge, is supposed to see whole picture & compensate for underlings' mistakes.
Instead they allowed so many "mistakes", did so much to let shooter get through, that their motive must be questioned.

BULLSHIT
Most conservatives support some gun control.

Maybe in the UK, but what gun control measures does the NRA and most US conservatives support?
-
You won't find many conservatives who support automatic weapons, sawed-off shotguns, etc. except at gun clubs and whatnot.
There's a huge difference between gun control and taking away our guns that liberals want.

There may be are some liberals who would like that. But none I know. I am a gun owner (not here in Poland, but in the US). I would like to see the same kinds of regulations to gun ownership as there is to driving a car, for example. The same kinds of regulations that exist in most countries. where 327 people are not being shot every day.
-
Maybe liberals shouldn't be so weak on crime and making excuses for criminals.
-
@raphjd And when you look at murder rates in the US, 7 of the 10 states with the highest rate are very red.
https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/murder-rate-by-state
Maybe both sides need to come together and start passing legislation that tackles the root causes of crime. Maybe take a look at countries with much lower rates of crime, and figure out what they are doing that we are not?
-
When you look at the states with the lowest gun crime rates, it's full of red states.
Illinois, for example, has a high gun crime rate because of Chicago and East St Louis. The rest of the state is quite peaceful.
Missouri, likewise, has a high gun crime rate thanks to St Louis.
Baton Rouge LA has a high gun crime rate, but the area that became St George (LA's newest city) has a low gun crime rate, even when it was part of Baton Rouge.
-
@raphjd Exactly. So maybe politics has less to do with crime rates than do socio-economic factors? It's fairly easy to see that poverty and easy access to firearms are very important factors. Let's try to treat the disease rather than slapping a band-aid on it.
