<![CDATA[How to EASILY convert those damned .TS files]]>I have no idea WHY the .TS format is being used, other than perhaps it is non-proprietary and they don't have to pay any licensing fees for using it.

Anyway, very few video viewers or editors are compatible with the .TS format.
The easiest way to convert them is to install the FREE HANDBRAKE utility. The settings I use are FAST 480p 30
Going over 720p is just making a bigger file size for no good reason.

The result is an MP4 file.

Sometimes torrents have several dozen tiny mp4 files. The potplayer playlist allows you to quickly advance through them without stopping and starting. It's like flipping pages of a book. Maybe Zoom does that also?

Just today, I was flipping through some Onlyfans shit of a performer who had over 100 worthless videos... I flipped through them, and found ONE good one!

VLC does play TS files but when rewind or forward it stops for awhile and then start playing, maybe i dont have the right codecs

I was planning on using OBS with Discord for free to do this.
OBS makes the video on your own computer into a virtual webcam that can be used with Discord to stream the video online. So far, I have gotten this to work with the VIDEO, but not the AUDIO (not sure why)

I use Wondershare UniConverter 15 to make them into MKV for Plex, but any video converter should do.

This format is widely utilized in broadcast systems such as DVB and ATSC because it maintains quality while being streamed or transmitted over unreliable media.

TS and MP4 are almost exactly the same, with the exception that MP4 files have an index at the beginning and TS files do not.
If you have a TS file stored on a DVD or Blu-Ray disc, you can simply play the disc with a DVD or Blu-Ray player.

There are many ways to covert TS to MP4 files and other format ...
