I saw the links in a couple of posts above. And I used them to identify the right colors.
Smithdtn's original post with the color list was also really helpful. Thanks, smithdtn!! :love:
But as you can see, I only managed to approximate most of the colors.
I think I'm gonna take a break 'cause I started to feel like
:afr: and :blink: and :cheesy2: and :crazy2: !

I am sure mgr can provide you with the specific color codes currently in use. I would think to change these color codes is fairly easy to do but gain mgr would have that answer as well.

Personally I am all for same changes in these color codes because, as you mentioned, some are so close in color it is hard to tell the difference. However, I am not sure everyone will feel the same since these colors have been in use for so long.

Comparing the colors to see if I got the color codes right.

Administrator = red
Super Moderator = indianred (?)
Global Moderator = blue or navy (can't tell the difference)
SIG Moderator = limegreen or lime (can't tell the difference)
auto-approval = teal (?)
Gay Leader = it's not pink; seems close to deeppink (?)
Hero Member = seems like gold (?)
Sr. Member = seems close to fuchsia (?)
Full Member = it's not violet; seems close to blueviolet (?) but not quite right
Jr. Member = seems close to purple (?)
Semi-Newbie = I don't know the color; the class is missing from the list above (!)
Newbie = seems close to indigo (?) but not quite right
Lurker = I'm sure it's black!
Hall of Fame = it's a new addition, so I don't even know where it fits in the list and even if it has a color (??)

Seriously, why all those purplish colors that make five classes almost indistinguishable from one another??
Any help with the color codes would be appreciated!

wow, the Crayola colours is fun, I like it. ::)
above color table is a kind of programming.
if color code is defined, we can use it. like this: text
but coloring smileys is not easy. :cheesy2:

Here's a good link for all the hex equivalents of the Crayola colours…some I never even heard of - I guess some were special edition and didn't come with a standard extra box. Pretty cool! Maybe there is a way of colouring smileys too?
