However, contact option is provided in public space and not obtained in a creepy way. If someone is genuinely missing new work of an artist, there is nothing wrong in asking. It may also become source of motivation, who knows. Or as you mentioned screaming into the void, so don't pin any hopes to save from disappointment. Anyway, those were my two cents.

well, that, and it also feels incredibly aggressive and intrusive to just contact some poor pr drone demanding (what most likely is) morbid details, to which i shouldnt be privy. asking around seems like a much more considerate approach, it always surprises me what people on this site have information about.
