@blablarg18 I care about truth, facts, evidence. I have had it with innuendo and smokescreens put forward by both sides. Watching Comer having the nerve to go on TV and say that Hunter Biden has shell companies that take money from companies with ties to the Chinese communist party just made me laugh. China is one of America's biggest trading partners and probably every Chinese company has ties to its government. How many rich Americans haven't done the same? The Trumps for example? And even Comer said that they have found no evidence of illegal activity. But that didn't stop him from using the "communist" buzzword to get people all riled up and, of course, the "deep state" hiding evidence. Give me a break. It's disingenuous and embarrassing that a highly advanced nation like the US has a citizenry incapable of using critical thinking skills to see through such antics. You'd think Fox, after having to pay 787 million for exactly this kind of drivel would have learned something about responsible journalism.

So in answer to your question: yes, I care deeply. But wake me up when there is enough evidence to bring charges. In the meantime, maybe the government could focus more on governing. The GOP made all kinds of promises about helping working class Americans, but instead they are obsessed with trans swimmers, Hunter, "dirty" books, drag shows, forcing women to have unwanted children, and Micky Mouse. Why? Because they have no intention of actually helping people raise their standard of living.

What's interesting is that the section where Biden lied in his gun application, ATF form 4473, was a section that the gun industry and most GOP PAC's opposed being added to the list of gun purchase requirements. In one lawsuit to prevent form 4473 being implemented, the gun lobby stated:

*"The ATF is not the appropriate agency for drafting, modifying or amending the 4473 nor is it the appropriate agency for defining or clarifying what constitutes an “unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance” or “fugitive from justice”, because the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) is empowered with the interpretation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g), and as such ATF cannot proceed in this matter. See, United States v. Mead Corp., 533 U.S".

You would think then, that biden's lying on that question would be championed by the right, since the question itself was argued to be illegal by the right.

According to Justice Department records, the odds of being charged for lying on this form are virtually nonexistent. In the 2019 fiscal year, when Hunter Biden purchased his gun, federal prosecutors received 478 referrals for lying on Form 4473 — and filed just 298 cases.

A 1990 Justice Department feasibility study noted how difficult it was to bring cases against people who falsely answer questions on Form 4473. Unlike the rich paper trail that exists for felons, no such record exists for drug abusers.

The data released by the Justice Department does not show how many of the 180 cases which were not pursued and which might have been successfully prosecuted for falsely answering the question about active drug use. But a review of such cases in Delaware shows that in fiscal 2019, only three Form 4473 cases were referred for prosecution in the state — and the U.S. attorney opted not to bring them.

Hunter has a long and storied history of being a drug abuser. This is especially true considering who his father and brother were.

We also have his laptop and his own words. You might remember that he said in in interview that he was such a drug addict that he would snort sprinkle cheese our of the living room carpet.
