<![CDATA[Trackers remain "updating"]]>Hello, recently my torrents that I'm seeding are no longer uploading. All of them (50+) have trackers set to "updating." I am using utorrent. I restarted the app many times but that does not solve the problem. Any ideas on what I can do?

The solution is to download and install version 3.5, and then set preferences so that the software doesn't automatically try to upgrade itself back to 3.6.

The procedure for doing this, courtesy of @john32123666 , and copied/pasted from him, is as follows:

In uTorrent point on Options/Preferences/General
Uncheck - Updates & Privacy / Check - Notify me before installing updates ...
[This will prevent your client from updating automatically] ...

[Older versions/Windows only] :
https://utorrent.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions

If you want to downgrade from earlier version,
[simply disable your anti-virus] and disable software updates from keeping your client updated ...

I followed these directions and everything worked fine. Note that you don't need to uninstall 3.6; the installation of 3.5 will keep all your settings and torrents.
