<p dir="auto">I think of indie pop as alternative music that has a popular bent/twist. In other words, it could cross over. There's some Pet Shop Boys non-single cuts, b-sides and even some single releases that aren't dance and aren't really hi-energy electronica that I would quantify as indie pop personally, and some that have crossed over: <em>Being Boring</em> is a perfect example, IMHO, as is the more recent <em>Home &amp; Dry</em>.</p>
<p dir="auto">Kitchens of Distinction, The Beloved, Frazier Chorus and Saint Etienne are other examples of what I would consider alternative artists who can make a song that crosses over (although KOD barely so).</p>
<p dir="auto">You need to post some songs or artist that you think qualify and hope to get a response that way, pal.</p>
