Remember it's "this should be OK" type of freeleeches, vanishing.
- one was Island Studs, 3 happy naked guys out shooting a rifle
- another was amateur video, alpha-faggot fucking, top is verbal & uses f-word
- farther back in time, one was that early Cadinot juvie-school movie (you know which)
We can debate if people's erotic preferences are valid but....

I totally agree. What I'm puzzled about is how Karens can cause a takedown--presumably that is only done in response to the copyright owner or their authorised agent. We'll probably never know the real story here.

Whoever is uploading single OF scenes and giving it stupid names like "Beefy stud fucks again" need to stop! I am sick of begging people in the comment section to ID the guys in the videos.

Among those that vanished today:
- American BBC orgy bareback
- Hot hypno videos
- Horny Hung Straight Passenger Fucks Rideshare Driver
This morning they happened to be on the main page, ie. recent & popular.
None of them struck me as "studio porn" or especially copyrighted / defended.
I opened their tabs, got called away, came back hours later, they had vanished.
Whose torrents benefit, by staying up, when other torrents are disappeared?
Is hypothetical Censor Karen protecting a particular uploader or porn studio, by killing the competition - killing anything else that grabs people's attention?

People aren't going to put MORE effort into uploads that get deleted lol. This is about as good as it'll get sadly unless this ends.

There's hasn't been a pattern this time which is why everyone has been thrown off and suspicious its just a random member.
The freeleeches getting removed gave it away that they are just trimming off the top every few hours.

@blablarg18 The creators of Hot hypo videos are pretty quick with takedowns. It's been like that for the last 2-3 years.
I'm pretty sure the first and last torrents are OF videos so I'm not surprised they are gone.

Okay so did you guys get the timing right on when the Karen thing usually happens?
I posted a completed series three days ago. It didn't last an hour and got DMCA'd. I posted it around 17:00 GMT. A day after, the same title got uploaded by another user but at a lower resolution and I'm glad that post stayed on and still there as of today. It was posted at around 19:00 GMT. The timing seems to be too random and I think this happens ones your post gets seen on the the very 1st page (Top 50) of newly uploaded torrents.
So if I post mine again, I know that there is a possibility that this might happen again and I get locked out for 90 days? Since most of you guys know what I have been posting and they are from different languages. Is it okay for me to title them on their native language and put the English translation on the description or then before the 7 days grace period to edit torrent post expires I edit them to reflect the English title. Can you guys give me your thoughts on this if this is just a waste of time to do.
Also, how do does web crawlers work? Do they take a look at the torrent scheenshots, title only, or descriptions also and comments too? All text, everything?

I can't speak for brother @blablarg18 , but I think that with nearly 200 posts in this thread, we've beaten this to death. Unless we can profile and defeat an Evil Troll who is causing problems, we will probably just have to accept torrents going up, and torrents coming down. Keeping them up will take more than Viagra.

@nix54 Oh! Well hello there fellow KDrama fan. Do please post more bromancely love please. There's lots of them in KDramas. Have you seen Weak Hero Class 1? That one is truly hard bromance as there is no romantic relationships with a female character whatsoever. Just sad that it was jealousy that caused all that tragedy. Hoping to hear more from you. Don't worry about the low download count here. There's only a small population of Boys Love and Asian bromance lovers in GayTor but we ought to change that. Ones people see that there are titles here of their interest, more of us will come.

As it happens I watched the series last night. It was not like most BL at all, quite sad. Though it was uplifting to see a BL with a coherent and good plot - full of usual KDrama twists and with young actors who show great promise. Quite intrigued how Choi Hyun Wook looks so much like a young Park Seo Joon - in looks, attitude and acting. A second series is rumoured but not confirmed.I will keep posting series as they come to an end. Most series episodes are very short anyway so watching a full series in one go is quite manageable. I think (like perhaps many others) that few series merit the emotional investment spread out over 2 or 3 months. That is my humble - not opionated - view of course.

@Rotron Thanks. I have just finished watching Reborn Rich. After each episode I was desperate to watch the next, it was very compelling. The story did have a lot of plot holes, particularly with the last episode, but they are forgiveable. Actually I will forgive anything for the wry smile that Song Joong Ki does so beautifully. I don't think we will ever see him in a bromance beyond that in Descendants of the Sun nor - in truth - do I want him to play one.
As much as I like Kdrama and how it has matured in the last few years I don't really think this site is suited to anything other than gay porn and related softcore and/or BL. I laugh and giggle at BL but in all honesty I hate and cannot defend its portrayal of LGBTQ+ people and gay men in particular.

@nix54 Yes, GayTor seems to have a different demographic. Very noticeable on my torrent uploads. Here's an example of two GT sites of the same title:
30 vs 329 is a big difference but this grows in time. This title is only being downloaded because it's the uncut version and the TV version has already been available for quite some time in that other GT site but 30 here in GayTor is already a high number for me here. GayTor has never been known to have such titles. When I started uploading this genre here there are already some that has been uploaded on from time to time with very high snatched numbers so I'm guessing where did those numbers (users) go now. Porn is the bread and butter of gay torrent sites, their the main reason why we are here but I'm not one to insert myself in a crowded place already. So here I still stay and still happy to share what little crowd i have for my little genre. Hehe
I have never seen Descendants of the Sun yet. It's been in my watchlist for a long time but since you have mentioned there's a bit of bromance there maybe I'll watch it next.
Yes, BL does not appeal for everyone. They are written by women mostly and that's where things go wrong. Situations with men are too fantasized by these women writers but what's notable are BLs that are made for video straight and not from a book or webtoon also the ones that are labeled "adapted" that does not follow everything in those books written by women and these has now becoming more standard and hopefully getting a bit more on what we gay men would consider more acceptable or natural. What's realistic though is that BL is pretty much a bigger industry compared to Western studios producing gay series titles that seems to be spar and not constant. You can just see it by the number of titles coming out monthly. I can't even catch-up.
Gosh there is this guy that was invited by a neighbour that I have been ogling for quite some time and when we had eye to eye contact for the first time, it was already obvious that there is something and we keep looking at each other so it's already obvious that we want each other. That night itself he proposed to start a relationship because he said that I look hungry for one that will never hurt me. I'm not sure if I really looked that way that night but enough of this. I only mentioned it because if this is going to be in a BL it's gonna be too Western as it's too straight-forward. Most BLs are also dictated by their country's culture like Thailand and Japan. So I think it's part of the charm.
I'd like to have more discussion like this but we are in the wrong forum thread. Ehe.
