provided that the torrent has active seeders or even if dead, there are members who have completed the download for it to be revive.

I noticed that some torrent pages have a large "Make Torrent Freeleech!" button above the smaller "Download" button. I suspect I unintentionally hit a freeleech button. At least it was for a good cause.
