<pre><code>The Supreme Court ruled 6–3 on June 30 that the Clean Air Act doesn’t give the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) widespread power to regulate carbon dioxide emissions that a popular theory says contribute to global warming.

<p dir="auto">Despite the case directly involving the Clean Air Act, it applies to all EPA powers.</p>
<p dir="auto">The ruling says that the EPA only has as much power/authority as directly given by Congress.</p>
<p dir="auto">I can see that this ruling will be used for all other federal government departments, banning overreach.</p>
