the gays are still watching BL? I thought it was for the girls only. these movies are so unrealistic and especially not helping our community. I wonder what attracts you guys to watch them, is it because of the chemistry between the characters or just because they're handsome?

@tanducho234 Yes! An astounding yes! We gays and more gays and not just gays, even families are watching more Boys Love. The girls? The girl fans are more into the books themselves and had turned into critic monsters who think they know better on how men should love each other but they are still good supporters.
Since Boys Loves are now being adapted into television series and movies, they now have a farther reach and wider consumer acceptability compared to Western gay series or gay movies. Gone are the days of fantasies and unrealistic relationships. Boys Loves these days are more like gay series and movies we've all grew up with without the popular bad endings or tragic deaths they came with. They are more about everyday life and their struggles. They now reflect more of what we are and how we are and even better, these series always comes with a message, a message that convinces people and families that we all are just like anyone else and so is our love for each other.
Boys Love are now more considered as normal television dramas just like any other television drama or soap. The difference between straight and gay series are now more being blurred slowly and this is one of the aims of them "gay male boys love series producers". Embed a message in each series that tells everyone that we are no different from them. Boys Love has already evolved to reflect the current generation and generation changes happen every 20 to 30 years. Soon those who were born during the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s will be gone and so will their old systems and teachings.
I myself was born during the early 70s and I am very happy about it that we are now adults in this current generation in which more people are more open about themselves and who they really are. We get to experience the technology of communications and use them as a tool to spread our love. I like Boys Love and has become an ambassador of it and help spread the message it comes with because I was able to reflect my own life experience from one of the series I have watched and it was no fantasy, it was my reality.
The hardship of growing up while trying to keep a secret that you like men, the pressure of your parents wanting to marry you with someone of another sex or expecting you to give them a grandchild. The terror of being found out or being outed when you are not ready. The joy of being proud and being free to tell everyone who you really are. This is me and these are all shown in today's boys love series and more.
I am now 48 and a single father and still very much in love with my partner who is also a father of two that I have met 10 years ago.
You have your own reality and so do we and millions of other people. Learn to respect the people around you and their own experiences in life. In our communities throughout Asia, we strive for acceptance and there is an active drive to instill the normalcy in future generations. We will always fight against the terror of communism and what it can do to destroy years of hard work that peace has allowed us.
Yes! These boys love series contains those messages and yes we also watch them because of the chemistry between male characters and yes because some of them are quite handsome and yes WE ARE GAY!!!
Oh do you know that some boys love are now made direct to video? No book needed. Just watch I TOLD SUNSET ABOUT YOU. It's no fantasy.

I wonder if you have access to the "Semantic Error" full movie version? Apparently a full movie version was released recently that has a lot more added into it compared to the show. You'd be a lifesaver if you can upload it!

@spence8585 Oh thank you for reminding me. I have been waiting for it also. Lucky for those fans in Korea and Taiwan and other countries where they were shown in theaters since August 31. Let's hope it becomes available to us International Fans soon. Praying that Viki will have it for streaming.

Channel One 31 has been heavily advertising this lakorn since early this year. Thai Lakorns though are longer than the usual television series and have longer episodes. Surely there will be too much drama and a ton of villains in this one. Hopefully this will become popular and have more same-sex centric lakorns because all straight series and movies are just not normal anymore.

I binged watched Vice Versa for 3 days while doing some other things during my days off. I really want to be able to have watched them before uploading for our collection hobby. Alas, we don't have all that time and I can't catch up with all the releases. Can't believe I still have not started Still 2gether. That is why I am doing this so we could watch them all at a later time when we feel it.
I have been thinking of uploading the second series of GameBoys 2 and another series, Beach Bros, but I have been having second thoughts as to why no one else has done them. So in time I might have to do them on my own, manually, as there are no source files for these so a screen recording is the only solution at the moment.
