I keep my eyes peeled for popular torrents that I think are going to be really long-lived, and seed them for a while once they're posted. I'll leave the other more obscure stuff seeding for a while, but I don't see a lot of activity on them. This is probably due to long tail dynamics, but it does provide the right incentives for engagement and contribution.

It's really easy to enter a keyword and browse visually. And unlike other places online, this community seems to always be adding new torrents and keeping them fresh. Glad I was able to join!

My solution to this is that every now and then when my rratio gets low I download a huge freeleach torrent that will be free for the longest possible and upload it until the freeleach is over.
