Maury (Povich) decided 2-years ago to retire... he wanted to 3 years ago, but agreed one last time to extend his contract. He will have been doing the same show for over 30 years..

That extension is set to expire, and the host has made it clear that he will NOT extend it again (unless NBC send him a LOT more money - there's always an "unless" LOL)

No word yet on who gets custody of his walker.... (the man is 83!)

Sorry, Maury - you are NOT the father of daytime gossip / family drama talk shows - but you WERE a pioneer of that disgusting format...
