Yea, for the free leech torrents I grab the ones that have just started.
For a while around 4-5 a day and left them seeding for the freeleech time and often a month or more after

The seedpoints seem to be worth alot less than gay-torrent, but I figure with 9 months of seed points I should of gotten a good hit to my ratio

I've donated twice, for around 20-30 euro option. both times helped alot. and I'd download 2 or 3 torrents (not huge).
but now the site wants 50euro option to equalised my ratio, but I haven't downloaded any non free torrents to of caused such a large drop.

You should probably write to the helpdesk - the Mods have access to your upload/download history...

So I've been with gaytorrents & gay-torrents for years
I've had a good ratio on both. Still have a good ratio with gay-torrents

On here around 9 months or so ago my ratio suddenly tanked
I've spent the last 9 months or so seeding, downloading freeleeches (That aren't due to expire) & using seeding point to buy ratio and I leave the Qbit torrent on 4-12 hours a day.

But my ratio isn't changing, My ratio is currently at 0.669
If anything it's been going down slowly.

I'm stumped as what's going on.
Is anyone able to shed some light?

No changes that have been announced - and I agree that my numbers on here are harder to maintain than on gt.org or gt.net... but IMHO, that's because the "audience" size is so much larger here.

I was just posting this in another thread, but the fact is, there are only 3 ways to get "upload credit" here:

1. Actually upload data to another user via a torrent active on the tracker
2. Collect Seed Bonus Points (many ways to get them) - but that is VERY SLOW: 600 SBP is only 10GB
3. Donate to the site (See torrent side home page)

Also: for downloading a freeleech to be any ratio help, you need to have downloaded it EARLY in the freeleech time. Why? Because what you're "leveraging" with a freeleech torrent is that, by virtue of it being free, it will be POPULAR! You download it for free (no affect to rationator), but then you seed it - and because it's popular, you wind up sharing large chunks of it - hopefully many times over. Thus, you're using method #1 above.
However, if it's been free for a while, the amount of "download action" will be waning - and the number of OTHER seeders (your competition) will be high!
Thus, using a FREELEECH to gain ratio only really works if you're catching it EARLY in the free time life-cycle.
