<![CDATA[Qbittorent and "stalled"]]>Hey guys

I've tried a bunch of fixes but nothing seems to work. I've got space on my HDD and all that, but all downloads from here and another porn torrent site just come up as "stalled" and if I force download nothing happens at all even though it says there are seeders. Could someone give me some advice?

It's not safe in any way. qBittorrent, it's important to notice, will only puposely disconnect you from a peer IF it identify a possible threat or security breach, such as peers running on unsafe ports or multiple incoming connections from the sabe IP..

As of the stalled status, I'd say to just check the torrent page and see how many seeders it has, if probably is a really small number, maybe even 1 or 2. People aren't online all the time, you can start downloading something and then the seeder shuts down his PC or whatever, you just need to until there's an active seeder.

Okay I understand that but I have never experienced this before with QB and I have been using it for quite a long time now.

So, what I'm doing now to remedy this is to exit QB and run it again and switch my VPN to another location. Some locations would last longer than other. I really do not know if what I'm doing has anything to do with the problem. 🤔

it gets stalled for no reason. The torrent would just stop downloading.

This is normal in qbittorent, main reason there are not enough seeder and has difficulty connecting finding peers ...
Point [highlight] on the torrent that is stalled and force-resume/start or [right click/option] ...
This will continue from finding peers ...
Unlike in utorrent and other client it keeps on finding peers even if there is no seed ...

Everything is working, tracker etc but it gets stalled for no reason. The torrent would just stop downloading. Other private and public torrents are working fine.

I'm able to download torrents from every other site like normal, so it has to be something to do with connecting to this site, I think...

The Stalled status usually appeared when you try to download torrents that have a low number of seed/peers. So you can check the number of speed/peer first.
You can reconnect to peers by reinserting torrent in it and the speed will recover a bit.
It's just a temporary fix but worth trying.
