It does, however, control the .ru domain and it does persecute people like me, and it exports that hateful ideology to the rest of the world.

the .ru domain name doesn't mean the site is hosted in or around Russia. (Doesn't mean it isn't, either).

This site name was registered in 2006 (easily looked up in the Internet WHOIS database)... at a time when sex-related sites were under somewhat of an attack in the .com and other common TLD domains (as they were controlled, in great parts, by US companies).

A great many sites changed to ccTLDs - esp from obscure countries (and Russia was not the threat then that it is now).

Read what I wrote in the other thread....

I doubt very much that Putin would even approve if this domain's existence if he knew about it (or cared, or had any control!)

While I'm at it - wanting to hate on all things Russian because of what their Government is doing in Ukraine is every bit as bad as blaming all Asians - even American Asians for COVID-19...

This act of war is being perpetrated by the Russian Government, not it's people.

I'm not saying to go out and support your local Russian Army Soldiers, but I am saying that boycotting Russian Dressing because of this war is absurd...
