The title of the torrent reads, "[gay-torrents.org] Gay Revenge Pack 2010-2012 (30)"

gay-torrents.org? Really? OK, we know where it came from, but wouldn't it have made a little sense to change the title before posting it on this site?

For anyone not a member of gt-org, whenever a torrent is uploaded, the tracker modifies it to put that qualifier [gay-torrents.org] at the beginning of the torrent name. For the record, I do kinda like that idea, since I keep all the .torrent files. Not only do I ensure I don't download dupes (since I have thousands), but it helps to know where I got vids from.

Anyway…I just thought it looked kind of odd to have that in a title on this site.

There are threads in the Staff section about links to other file sharing sites. Unless something has changed, the Admins normally aren't too thrilled about such links.

However, I don't see any live link, just the name of a friendly competition site. Completion is important as motor of progress.

The real danger of posting torrents from private trackers elsewhere (instead of creating an own new) is that your personal passkey contained in it might be leaked.

This danger does not exist here, because our site replaces the complete tracker URL with our tracker and the downloading member's passkey.

However other private tracker may use another system and for that reason we have a rule not to post GayTorrent.ru torrents on other tracker. Of-course it is possible to share data (movies) downloaded here on other tracker, just re-create a new torrent for the other tracker (read the manual on the other tracker about how).

I always make sure I create a separate .torrent file. When I upload torrents, I usually seed at gt.net and gt.ru. But I create a separate one for each site. Plus, one thing I don't get is when people use open or public trackers. They allow them at gt.net, but I stay away from those. Not that private trackers guarantee safety, but they're safer than using public trackers. (In my opinion, anyway)
