<![CDATA[CNN covers Fla Seniors who say their party registration was changed]]>While it was on the main page earlier, currently on the Politics page, CNN is running with a story where Florida (where I live) Seniors are all in an uproar because they say there duped into switching parties (to Republican).

As someone who lives in Florida, let me point out:

WHO CARES?

Party affiliation can be changed daily, if you want to do the paperwork
Party affiliation DOES NOT change where or when you vote
Party affiliation comes into play solely during the primaries... you only get to vote in the primary of the party you're registered to (which - read above - can be changed right up to the point where they "lock in" voter rolls for that particular election).

Even IF some idiot was confusing old people to change party affiliation, all it would do is increase the number of LIBERAL DEMOCRATS voting in the REPUBLICAN primaries! OOMPH!

Typical of media on both sides tho, trying to demonize "the other side" with any little thing you can come up with!
