In several weeks it will burn itself out. Meaning the majority of the population will have contracted Omicron.

Until then, let me pose a thought experiment: Are you so sure of your beliefs that you would (a) willingly infect yourself with the omicron variant, and (b) refuse any treatment other than over-the-counter cold remedies? If you answer in the affirmative, I'll nominate you for a Darwin award.

If I was young and healthy I sure would. But I am neither of those things so I would only take on Omicron if I could be treated with prescription medications.

Much like the article states just because you die with Omicron does mean you died of Omicron.

Omicron is like have a winter cold nothing more.

The death rate for people with omicron is very much higher than that for people with a winter cold.

I suggest that you become more familiar with facts before posting nonsense like this.

That means that almost half of them are due to COVID-19, and it's a very large number.

Let me explain it to you. There are more people because of the pandemic. TRUE! but only about half of the reported Covid admissions is because of Covid.

Their must be a reason behind the over claiming by the hospitals. I think it has to do with the amount of financial assistance they are receiving from the federal government but that is my under educated position.

So, Alice - since Hospitals are reporting having 5x-10x more patients than "normal", and there is, indeed, a pandemic, but these extra people (patients) are NOT due to the current pandemic (COVID-19)...
