My preference is still for silicone based lubes, because they last longer. I use this with my Fleshjack, because it is toy friendly. It is very thick and does last a long time. If I am just jerking off, I still use Gun Oil, but this product is there when I want to do something different. Another advantage of this product is if you do not feel like washing it off immediately after finishing, then in the morning it does not even feel like lube on your dick. With Gun Oil, I would sometimes get a pimple on my dick or balls if I did not clean up as soon as possible.
