When your torrent client completes a download, stay connected. The tracker will direct other downloaders to your system to get parts of the file(s).

NOTE: If you're using a torrent client on a portable device (phone or tablet) it is very possible that you cannot seed with that client.

Also: it is possible to configure most clients to NOT seed upon completion... you will need to make sure that this setting IS NOT active for you...
