<![CDATA[Bank of England releases Alan Turing £50 note]]>As of Yesterday, 23 June 2021, the Bank of England has officially released the new £50 note that features Alan Turing.

This is the first (provable) gay man to be on Bank of England money.

Sadly, the same can't be said for Scotland, though.

I know that in New Zealand, they put characters from Lord Of The Rings on their currency.
