<![CDATA[INDIA - 8 lions test positive for C-19]]>Nehru Zoological Park announced that 8 Asiatic lions have tested positive for C-19.

The lions were tested after a vet said they showed C-19 symptoms on 29 Apr 2021.

This is the world's first case of C-19 for zoo animals.
