For instance.. there have been a couple of times several years ago when I had important information that the FBI should have investigated.. however. there is NO WAY to contact them! Impossible! The best you can do is SEND them information via snail mail, but they will not respond, nor acknowledge they even got it.

I am not permitted to share details - but you are wrong. I have personally made reports to the FBI that were investigated and resulted in criminal charges being filed.

Not only that, I routinely ask telemarketers to call me back "on my land line" - and give them the phone number of the nearby FBI Field Office and tell them to ask for "Spic"...

The woman who was shot in the face while holding her toddler son for daring to say "all lives matter", the Trump supporter who was stalked and murdered, the Patriot Prayer guy who was shot in the face by the Antifa "security" and on and on and on.................. No political terrorism in any of those because liberals can do no wrong.

I didn't claim the gunman who shot Scalise didn't have a political agenda (and neither did the FBI report) - only that:

• the FBI report, whose "finding" was that this attack was a "suicide by cop" - and not a plot by some terrorist organization (or a cabal of child-eating liberals!). [NOTE: the point of an FBI summary (or finding) isn't to assign blame. It is to determine what the next steps are (if any)... and by identifying the gunman's objective as "suicide by cop", the report was pointedly saying that there was no conspiracy, and no group behind this nutball. He acted alone, he's dead, and therefore no further investigation is warranted.]
• the Washington Examiner "newspaper" (sic) incorrectly (and purposefully) mis-characterized the failure to include "politics" in the findings as a removal (or oversight) of that portion of the gunman's motives... which it was not. Those parts of his actions, motives, and background were all still in the report... and, if they had included his membership in Anfifa, or Proud Boys, BLM, Oath Keepers - why THEN that would have warranted further work and would have been included in the findings.

WRT: "what about suicide bombers" - well, like most things, that would depend on the context.

• If the suicide bomber was a Democrat (that is: a member of a cabal of child-eating liberals), and the point of the bombing was to further their EVIL AGENDA TO DESTROY AMERICA, then the political leanings of the bomber would warrant further (or, ongoing) investigation.
• But if the suicide bomber was just a nutjob who wanted to take out a bunch of commies, and planned the whole thing all by him (or her) self, then no - the finding would state that fact.

Again: FINDINGS are about supporting the where do we go from here conclusions of the report, not about blame, rationale, and not even summarizing the case! Just about answering 1 basic question... and the same one I have WRT this topic:

If the politics were reversed, the FBI would have called it right-wing domestic terrorism.

This is just DUMB spin - The FBI didn't remove anything from the report about the guy's political beliefs, nor the role that played in choosing his target - what the report's finding states is simply that it was his intention to die at the hands of the police by doing this... it was (by their finding) a suicide, and he wanted to take some Republicans out with him!

That finding doesn't change (or cover up) the political nature of the crime - which, counter to the implication in the reporting, has never been removed or redacted from the report... but it does make it less of a "terrorist" threat (from an organization that needs to be followed up on) and more the actions of one deranged, suicidal individual (which doesn't require ongoing investigation).
