If I deleted a torrent and want to seed the files I already have downloaded, how would I go about doing that?

1- You download the 'broken' torrent (yes, I know, bear with me...)
2- Copy the actual file to where the torrent would have downloaded the file/s.
3- Depending on your client you need to 'recalculate/recheck' and since you have the file it should go to 100% and start seeding automatically.
