Hi. I am just wondering how come some torrents are not downloading eventhough there are seeders?

There can be a LOT of issues there...

• Tracker data is not instantaneously updated... sometimes seeders drop but the tracker isn't aware
• Sometimes seeders are in parts of the world you don't have access to (e.g. China) - so the seeder can register with the tracker, but you cannot connect to the seeder
• Sometimes seeders aren't configured properly, so just like above, the seeder can register with the tracker, but you cannot connect to it

There are many other (less probable) reasons too, but if you can download a popular torrent, but cannot download one with a low-number of seeders, this may be the explanation... and it's not likely YOUR problem. (If you're like me, you wish it WAS your problem - you could "fix" it... but, when it's out of your hands, and you feel soooo close, it can be very frustrating!)
