Just make sure that the contents of the torrent are in the folder where your torrent client downloads into by default before adding it to your torrent client, and it should start seeding it instead of downloading it again.

The only way is to make the torrent freeleech and will not affect your ratio, However you may lose some of your seed bonus points...
