Walt and Jon have been friends for about 20 years

Walt is gay, Jon is straight and both live in the same city

Jon's nephew, Toby, comes to live in the same city as Walt and Jon

One day Walt and Toby end up having an afternoon of wild brazen sex

Toby tells Jon and Jon sends an email to Walt basically stating that

Walt violated his trust and faith by what happened between Walt and Toby

Walt does not know exactly what Jon has been told happened that hot and steamy afternoon
    and now Jon wants to talk to Walt, but Walt insists that it be face-to-face, as they have
    been friends for 20+ years

Is anyone in the wrong in this scenario?

If Walt and Jon's friendship extends to them meeting each other's families and given that they have known each other for over 20 years, Walt could have known Toby as a child. That fact alone could have freaked Jon out.

ilijah specifically asked if anyone was in the wrong. On the available info, I'd say Toby was. Why on earth would he want to tell his uncle that he'd been having sex with his uncle's friend

Did Jon know Toby is gay?  Worse case scenario is that maybe Jon feels Walt "turned" his nephew into a homosexual. ::)

They are grown-up guys and they know what sex is all about.

I can understand Jon's anger and the loss of trust in Walt but Tobey could meet a nice guy everywhere in the world and have sex in every minute of his life.

Maybe they (Walt and Jon) need to talk, and maybe their long friendship could go on a turmoil, but (I repeat) they didn't make nothing wrong in front of the law.
