      @lesteridge:

yes i am actually an avid listener of kpop! started back during Girls Generation/2NE1/Super Junior days and never stopped since. Am currently into BLACKPINK, TWICE, Red Velvet, GFRIEND, TXT, BTS and so much more. It's really fun being a multistan of many groups hahaha the quality of kpop has really improved these recent years!

Life of a multistan is hard man, 5 big comebacks in a week sometimes. So much to keep up.

Same. K-Pop has kept me alive in so many ways during the past years. When I see my friends Spotify Unwrapped with Spice Girls, Britney and Girls Aloud on the top, I mean, don't get me wrong, that was cool, but I love the feeling of having new music, new MVs, new performances. If only the western gays would give Chungha, Irene&Seulgi a chance…

YESSSSS CHUNGHA IS A QUEEN she did so well this year, Stay Tonight + Play + Dream of You are all bops! I agree I really wish Western people in general give kpop a chance, the material is endlessly amazing and the genres are just so varied  they don't know what they're missing out on tbh

Yeah, but I prefer the old generation like 2NE1, After School, Super Junior, SNSD, etc.

I don't mind some kpop songs, but a lot of the groups feel and sound like copies of each other. Main turn off for kpop is the culture/bandwagon and toxic fans.

I do like Male KPOP groups and the individual idols. I'm not into girl KPOPs but they have good songs too. I also like some songs from Korean Boys Love series.

I'm really more more into Korean Ballads. They make me cry. This is due to all the KDramas I watch.

Pop really isn't my style even for Western ones but there's a lot to like there. But hey KPOP is so cool because it moves them KBoys. Gotta love the boys you know. just like Kim TaeRae of Tempest. Here's a video of him from Boys Planet:

                                    Youtube Video

And here he is on the left in duet singing a ballad. What a change in the looks department, right? A hair style change can make a big difference. I prefer this look of course.

                                    Youtube Video

Here's more of them. Gosh it's raining cute boys in this video. The individual focus on several boys at the end are shots straight to your heart.

Were you able to spot who among them are Boys Love actors?

Definitely an ONF fan in their military outfit than their KPOP look. The fourth most popular KPOP group after BTS, NCT, and EXO.

Nope. But I don't really listen to a lot of what is considered Top 40. I have no idea what most of Beyonce sounds like, for example, and likewise I have no idea what Taylor Swift sounds like and unless something really breaks (for example, when the US Olympic swim team did that Call Me, Maybe video song skit on their flight - to was that the Rio Games or London?, I would have had no idea that was a popular song). I also have no clue what Harry Styles sounds like as a solo singer, before anyone thinks I'm picking on females.

BTS was on a late show that I was channel surfing past and they, I believe, they were on SNL? So I've heard a tiny bit of them, I'm certain, but if you put a gun to my head and forced me to tell you what I heard, I'd be dead.

@FDS2000 LOL haha. Yah you don't have to understand what they're singing. I don't watch KPOP for their songs. I like KPOP for the boys and their moves. So much better than listening to the usual pop songs. Whatever happened to Western entertainment? Where are the you men and young boys? Where are the boy groups? Have they been eaten, working their ass out by the financial system?

Oh wait... Oh yes... I see them now... Hey there cute boy. Which media entertainment company is handling your career? Oh.. Staxus... uhm okay and how 'bout you? Helix... errr alright. 😖

@Rotron Well... just kidding but isn't there anything like this in America or Europe to promote boys and young men in the entertainment industry besides porn?

Watch and pick a boy you want, you'll go gaga ones you see them live.
