Okay, that at least makes some sense but I didn't see anything about that on the GoFundMe page.  If it's there, maybe my adblocking software is preventing me from seeing it.

If you want to raise money for a business, it helps to have a clear business plan and an outline of what the money will be used for.  Watch "Shark Tank" or "Dragons' Den" on YouTube and see how the successful entrepreneurs present their business plans and what types of questions the potential investors ask.  A GoFundMe page doesn't need to be anywhere near as elaborate as some of the presentations and concise is better than lengthy, but you will get the idea.
