<![CDATA[Search function not working]]>For a period of many hours, the search function did not appear to be working from Aug 22, 2020 to Aug 23, 2020.
I posted many videos, checking before posting that none had been posted before. but hours later most were deleted as duplicates. Now I am the first to admit, that I make mistakes in checking, and am often beaten by minutes, (and even seconds - 24 seconds, on one occassion!) I did report the problem, with explaination, in reply to one of the deletetion messages.
A huge amount of work had gone into posting these videos, maybe 4 hours of my time, but no response. A simple "Sorry, we had a problem", would have sufficed, as a reply. No reply. I have posted thousands of videos, but now think "why do I bother". Surely those of us that share are the lifeblood of this site? You even have a first tme uploader incentive, but regular uploaders don't deserve a response?
I hope I don't sound too negative, this is great place to share.
Sometimes, I feel everything is stacked against uploaders, I posted nothing for nine months once before, after I felt something had been unfairly deleted. I am nowhere near doing that again, but just wanted to say my piece.
