Happening here too. I use a NordVPN with a dedicated IP which usually prevents issues like this, but guess not here.

I also have the same problem : "Could not connect to tracker". As I use NordVPN in a Transmission docker container, I can't check if I can access the site with this connection. I've tried Cloudflare's "1.1.1.1" and Google DSN with no success.

Had the problem this morning, using Nordlynx - changed the tracker in the files from https://tracker.gaytor.rent to http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:2710 and that fixed the problem. Just hope I won't have to do that forever

I can connect to this site using the NordVPN browser extension for Chrome and the trackers in uTorrent using their Socks 5 servers.

i am having this probem and to make things worse i am using a mac. it appears that the possible solution of nordlynx is only available on windows, if enough people have the problem are yall gonna change your ddos solution or is it just tough shit for us?

Same problem here. I've worked with a couple of admins, have changed DNS addresses and many recommended settings. Sometimes I can download, never starts immediately and never seeds. Have tried multiple computers with different utorrent versions and settings. Help would be appreciated.

I have same problem as well. I am from Turkey and I can only access site through NordVPN Obfuscated Servers. Site works without any problem but torrent doesnt work. Luckly one of the torrent is downloaded without changing any thing but that all. The rest is waiting at "Finding Peers" forever.

I'm having the same problem with trackers and NordVPN, and this is recent. Turning off the proxy option in my torrent program does connect me to the tracker again and updates, but once I turn it back on it disconnects.

I am using NordVPN and having the same issue. Trackers do not connect but I am able to access site fine.
Update: I was able to get the trackers to connect when I unchecked “ SSL Tracker (Uncheck to Turn off SSL Announce Urls)” in my profile and then redownload them. Not sure how unsafe this makes it even though I’m still going through vpn.

Update: I fixed my issue by picking a correct server on NordVPN's website. I need to find a server that supported SOCK5. Trackers works for me again, perhaps the server I was using lost SOCK5 support?

Here is the fix. Go to this page on the Nord site, search for SOCKS5. Follow the instructions. You may have to change the torrent program you use.
Worked for me and downloading again.

I'm having the same issue.. The SOCKS5 settings do not work, and NordVPN even states, that you do not need those setting, if you are using their software to connect to VPN.

I'm using NordVPN and sometimes the trackers take a couple of minutes to load. But eventually it does load, or when it doesn't i just stop then relaunch the torrents and it usually works.
I haven't noticed a great loss in speed using the VPN. -

Using NordVPN. Unable to upload anything at all and some torrents will download, others won't. Big concern is that without GT.ru showing I'm uploading anything, I'm stuck with freeleeching.

I'm having this issue.
I'm using NordVPN and qBittorrent. Adding "http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:2710…" to the tracker list in qBt (for each torrent) and unchecking "SSL Tracker" in my profile on the website helped temporarily, but after a while, some torrents were showing even the "http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:2710..." tracker as not working until I connected to a different NordVPN server and restarted qBittorrent. Now I have to check if individual torrents that aren't leeching/seeding are showing that their trackers are working. Even some that show their trackers as working and with seeds available aren't downloading. Some torrents with leechers where I'm the only seed aren't uploading.
The current situation is not ideal. I'm kind of a data hoarder and I like to respond to reseed requests as often as I can log into the website. Right now, that process is very unreliable and a lot more complicated than it needs to be.

I just checked and the trackers for all the torrents on qbt is "http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:2710…" without doing anything from the beginning.
And "SSL tracker" was unchecked on my profile page as default.I've been able to download and upload with using qbt and NordVPN without any problems.
But Is there any problem? Should I turn on SSL?
