Obviously, we want the absolute best quality we can get.   That doesn't mean people should be unrealistic about their expectations.

Yeah, especially when a scene is hot as hell!! Yeah, I guess I hate that too. You'd might as well watch Chinese porn with the mosaic covering their pivates!! Damn I hate that! Come on!! LOLOLOLOLOL

I'm interested in black-and-white vintage porn, gay or straight, from decades (and decades) past.

For current porn I appreciate 1080 or sometimes 4K uploads, and keep external hard drives to accommodate their space needs.

It's possible to have wide-ranging temporal tastes in porn, and I do.    

The period in the middle you describe, including early color – a lot depends on how well the clip/film has been preserved.

In any event, don't be discouraged by any boo-birds who comment on a particular vintage upload.  Do your thing!

Thank you.. I've found some *exe files of 1-2 minute porn that the quality is so bad. However, our screen technology was different too. I'm still getting everything togther. I'm copying everything back from CDs I've burned.

When I upload "vintage" material that's low resolution and/or fuzzy and/or a clunkly film transfer, I include some screenshots (from VLC player) and tell people to look at them to judge whether they want the material.  Some folks expect everything to be in HD.  I rather like the look of older films…it reminds me of when I first saw them years ago.

Yeah, I've come across a lot of those people. It's amazing how some people just don't have enough common sense to know that not everything will be restored. Far too many are only interested in downloading, and not really learning about the technology their using. Which is a shame..
