<![CDATA[Scotland to overturn historical sex crimes for gay and bi men]]>Scotland joins England and Wales in overturning historical sex crimes for gay and bi men.  I have no idea the situation in Northern Ireland.

Anyway, any man convicted of the crime of gay sex with a male 16 or over, can now ask the Scottish government to overturn the conviction. If the convicted man is dead, the family can ask to have the conviction overturned.  As you would expect, priority goes to those who are still alive.

Lesbian sex was never a crime in most of the west.
