How is that even possible, I thought I was supposed to be the source of every byte they downloaded until someone completes leeching.

That said, I do empathize with you. Jumping onto someone else's upload is bad behavior and poor netiquette. It is unfortunate that it happened to you, and I hope the bad experience does not make you stop visiting the site. It happens sometimes, but not all the time. And at the moment, there is no rule against it as it would be almost impossible (?) to police and track.

It could be completely accidental.

I have a lot of videos and I cant keep track of everything I have when I'm going through torrent pages. Many times I end up with several versions of the same video and I'm sure that at some point I have done what's discussed here.

@<bdi>raphjd</bdi> is correct.

@<bdi>Arsalano</bdi> - yes, you made the torrents, but did you make the VIDEOS ? Are these 100% unique original videos not found anywhere else on the internet ?

For popular / common porn videos, you may not be the only one in the entire internet who has this file.
Once someone else has that same file (note it has to be exactly the same to the byte), all it takes is to download YOUR torrent, and then point the BitTorrent client to the existing file on their computer, BitTorrent force re-check, and there you have it, 100% completed seed without having downloaded anything from you.

Please read this entire thread: *Topic: Jump-on / re-seed during new uploads.
What you are encountering now has been discussed at length and is not a new phenomena, not a bittorrent bug, and not a site error.
