<p dir="auto">It updates your ratio.</p>
<p dir="auto">It lets the tracker know what data you have to share and/or want.</p>
<p dir="auto">The more scrapes, the more stress on the tracker.  We try to balance the speed of getting your torrent data with the abilities of the server.</p>
