<![CDATA[Voting inconsistency in US Election?]]>Why there are instances where a state would vote for a party in the Presidency, while voting for the other party in the House or the Senate?
it seems logical that if you vote Republican for exmple for the Presidency, you'd vode Republican for the House and the Senate? and vice versa.

It might be about checks and balances and not letting one party run amuck.
