<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[Single user dominating bandwidth]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">I have uploaded several torrents today and have a user that is dominating my upload bandwidth.  They are using a seedbox.  Is there anyway to regulate a single users bandwidth in BitTorrent?  In the hundreds of torrents I have uploaded I have never had this issue before.  It keeps other leechers from connecting to me.  I also have the user's IP address if that helps.</p>

<p dir="auto">This is my main concern.  Just trying to be fair to everyone.  So what I do is throttle the upload speed for the torrent until there are several leechers connected and then I open up the speed.  It's not a perfect solution but hopefully it helps spread the seeding ability to other users.  The other thing I noticed is that they (I've noticed 3 or 4 different IPs) jump on the torrent before it is even visible.  I have a feeling they are using a bot to make sure they are first.</p>

<p dir="auto">You also have to understand that torrents connect to the easiest people to get data to, so they can help send it out.</p>
