<![CDATA[The sins of the father]]>NASCAR driver Conor Daly has his sponsorship pulled by Lilly Diabetes because of something his father, former race driver, Derek Daly said over 30 years ago and nearly a decade before Conor was born.

Derek lost his job this week as a race analyst.

Besides the obvious problem with this story (punishing Conor for something his dad did), Derek (from Ireland) used the N-word while watching the Indianapolis Colts training camp.  Somehow the conversation turned to Derek relating how he never knew that "nigger" was a bad word until he came to the US.  Once he learned the word was offensive, he never used it again.
