I'd venture a guess no less than 30% of the hetero couples who freely procreate would NEVER pass the requirements for adoption for all the reasons I just detailed. Next, you have the most important factor, THEY actually wanted kids badly enough to go through all that scrutiny. That by itself is an act of love, they are CHOOSING to be parents. If anything, the offspring of gay parents are more likely to be over-parented if there is such a thing.

Conversely speaking I know a shitton of hetero couples who NEVER should have had kids. They pop them out like candy from a pez dispenser with utterly no thought to how they will provide for them, let alone see to their educational needs. I swear I think everyone should be sterilized at birth, and the only way to reverse it is that you prove you have the means and the mental acuity to be a parent. It would have saved us all from Honey Boo Boo for sure.
