<![CDATA[Forming a new relationship]]>Long story short, I am graduating college and going to get my masters at a different school. I have not dated any guys (I had a high school girlfriend before I truly understood myself) and I am kind of nervous. I have never been or want to be part of the hook-up culture, but I want to start dating. How do I find dates? I am nervous to used Grindr, because my friend that uses it, uses it for hooking-up. Any discussion or suggestions would be appreciated.

You can also check if your new university has an LGBT club.  Most will.  It might be a good place to make gay friends, possibly meet guys, and probably talk to others, hear their stories, and get a little less nervous about meeting guys.
