This is so awesome!

I need to update it more often, but the star of my comic Incubus Tales (hxxp://incubustales.comicdish.com) has his own vegetarian and vegan food blog. The emphasis is on healthy cooking or healthier cooking at least, and though I've been terribly busy lately, I usually try to have it updated more. I'll update soon whenever I can!

I think the tips from Dhiar will help those who buy it in a store and want to try it gradually, but if you don't like the taste, you don't like the taste! For most people it's the aroma or the texture, both of which are improved by not stirring or not heating it. But even some Japanese natives can't stand natto!

I think it's kind of funny, really, thinking about it. Tomo and I will talk about all kinds of foods that we like or dislike, and usually whatever we like, her husband eats the opposite. I guess opposites really do attract sometimes!

It's just not for me. I'll eat almost anything, yet the taste of natto hasn't grown on me.

Even many Japanese natives can't stand natto.

But I think if you try some of Dhiar's tips, you may find it more palatable. The worst thing most newcomers to natto do is to heat it, and that usually puts them off it immediately and completely.

It's sort of like different kinds of cheeses. It's definitely an acquired taste for some (though I liked it immediately), and a lot of that depends on how it is prepared.

There's also a reeeeeeally good Chinese place up the street. Always glad to see lots of Chinamen with little English skills in one small area It helps keep the food authentic
