<![CDATA[Civilization V]]>I just started Civilization V. It's ever so time consuming. Is anyone else interested in strategy/sims?

I was a little sceptical because I had only played Age of Empires kind of 4x and the idea of a hexagonal map with a turn based gameplay sort of turned me off, but oh boy was I wrong!! Right after starting I think I played like 6 hours straight, without even noticing –It helps that I don't have a window to tell the time lol.
I absolutely love it. I only had Gods and Kings, and wish I could get Brave New World.

Similar to the concept of this site where payment is not required, DDO runs off the same basis. You have payment options, however it is completely free to play if you really want it to be

I don't think I'd have the patience or the time to play it these days. I do enjoy Command & Conquer - Tiberian Sun for the pc, it's several years old but still the best C&C game.
