Roy Moore is a disgusting jerk.

Yes.. but most politicians are disgusting jerks.  To have the desire for such a position, and the ability to deceive enough supporters to succeed, one has to be a disgusting jerk.  One of the biggest positives about Trump is he had enough money and power before running for president that he did not have to sell out to anybody including the media.  The media are still boiling mad about that.

Isn't he an utter peach? I still feel dismayed that 49% of a state thought that voting for a possible pedophile was better than voting for a Democrat.

I will go over this one more time for you:
The alleged activities were over 40 YEARS AGO! 
At the time, the girl was 14.. and the legal age of consent in Alabama was 13 years old.  So.. no crime.
It's quite interesting that this girl waited 40 years until after becoming the nominee to make her charges.
My problem with Moore is that he is such a religious nut.

However, even though the winner is a democrat..  a democrat in Alabama is pretty much a republican.  Much like a republican in Arizona (McCain and Flake) are pretty much democrats.
