Many, many moons ago her office helped me out with a problem I was having.  I bought a car from GM and financed it through GMAC, with their insurance too.  My mom worked for GM as a car designer, then and at the time as a designer of "personal mobility items" so she she could stay in our hometown and only travel twice a year, not the countless times as a car designer.  So I got a huge discount.

Anyway, I was in a wreck that wasn't my fault.  There was a wreck in the intersection that I stopped for, but got rear-ended and pushed into the wreck ahead.  Anyway, GMAC wanted me to keep paying my car payments, but didn't want to pay out on the wreck and medical bills until everything was sorted with the other insurance companies, and even then they wanted to wait until 6 months after that.

I had bill collectors coming after me, including GMAC.  I took GMAC to court and won.  The judge ordered them to pay up and clear my credit report.  They did.  Then they snuck it back on.  We we went to buy our house in Houston, I found out.  I tried to get it removed, but the credit agencies wouldn't remove it, without GMAC OKing it.    They refused.  So I went to SJL's office and within an hour it was removed forever from my credit reports.

Can we please get rid of this man. Once and for all.

I can't stand Paul Ryan.. but then.. I can't think of any members of the House of Representatives that I DO like!
